Product Gallery images open in new window

I have added many items and some have multiple images. I upload the primary image and then add the others in the Product Gallery.
When I view the product and click on the gallery images, I expect those images to open where the primary image is but instead they are opening in a pop-up window.
Is there a way to correct that?

Hi there,
I’ve just had a look at your site and it does indeed work the way you’d like it to – with the gallery image showing up in the space used by the featured image. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing on my side:
