Regarding the mail subject correction, we recommend navigating to the Admin Dashboard > Instock Notifier > Settings > Mail Settings. In this section, you can customize email messages, including the ‘Instock Mail Subject,’ where you can add the correct phrase.

Regarding displaying only the product name without the SKU, we suggest replacing the shortcode with {only_product_name} instead of {product_name} and checking it out. To do this, go to the Admin Dashboard > Instock Notifier > Settings > Mail Settings. In this section, you can add this shortcode according to your preference for subscription/instock emails. This modification will display only the product name without the SKU.

Thanks, I know I can adjust the mail subject. I just wanted to let you know to have more sensible defaults.

Also thanks for letting me know of {only_product_name}. I see it’s featured in the mail settings section, but I’ve missed it.
