product ids are being changed

    Hi,
    i am importing products via xml file. at first import products are being created and everything seems ok… i am running the import once a day to update only item quantities, when i re-run the import, stocks are updated but, product ids are being changed too.. its like old products are being removed and new ones are being written in correct quantities. but if item id was for example 1210 after next import same sku item id becomes 3270. how can i prevent this ?

    It sounds like you have “Delete posts that are no longer present in your file” enabled and the Unique Identifier is changing each time you update the file. Please double check and make sure you’re not changing any data in the elements that make up the Unique Identifier.

    If that doesn’t help, we’ll have to see the import settings/data to understand why this is happening. In this case, replicate the issue on a debug site at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/ and open a support request at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the details.
