I’m making use of a third-party plugin, which syncs products with my Inventory system. Whilst this works great for simple products, when creating variable products, they are created without an image, with images only being added to the variations of the product.

I’m trying to find a way in which I can have a product display the images of the variations for the respective product, if no images are available for the product.

  • Hi,

I understand you are using a third-party plugin, to sync the products with your inventory, when creating variable products, they are created without an image, a main image.

Can you provide the name of the plugin? If you switch the site theme to the default Storefront, and then disable all plugins except WooCommerce and the third-arty plugin, does the issue persist? If not, it means there was a conflict, and you can then switch back your theme to the original one, and then reactivate the rest of the plugins until you find the cause of the issue.

    Hello,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.

@ihereira the issue is with the image for the main product, (the variable product) as the images for the variations are added. I’m wondering if there is a way for the variable product to make use of images uploaded to the variations.

    Hi,

To get a better idea, can you provide a screenshot of the issue on your end? Can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?That will help me to better understand your site configuration.

    Cheers.
