Hello, for some time now, and probably following a Woocommerce update, I have noticed a problem on my product sheets. When I click on a photo in the gallery to enlarge it, it does not have the right ratio. It worked well before. I looked in the Woocommerce options but nothing relating to the management of this lightbox. Do you know where this could come from? And how to make sure that the photos in the lightbox have the right ratio? Thanks in advance! ^^

    Hi there!

I understand your concern. It seems like there might be a plugin conflict or a theme issue on your site. Please note that image sizes are controlled by the theme you are using or by a plugin if you are styling your products or adding extra features like a lightbox.

To identify the culprit, you can run a conflict test. Activate a WordPress default theme like Storefront and deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce to see if the issue is resolved. It’s recommended to run the conflict test on a staging site to avoid affecting your live site.

For more details on how to run a conflict test, you can refer to this article: How to Test for Conflicts.

Let me know how that goes!

I haven’t installed a lightbox plugin. I still have the same theme as before, when it was at the right ratio. I haven’t changed the size of the images and thumbnails… I’ll actually have to do a test as suggested, but for the moment, unfortunately I don’t have time.

Thank you in any case for your answer! Happy Holidays! ??

    Hi @annelandoisfavret,

Thanks for your update and for sharing more details. I’ve tested this on my own setup, and I couldn’t replicate the issue with the lightbox image ratio. This suggests the issue might be related to your theme or another customization specific to your site.

I understand you’re short on time, but when you have a moment, I’d recommend performing the conflict test I mentioned earlier. Testing with a default theme like Storefront and disabling other plugins (except WooCommerce) will help pinpoint the cause.

Once you’ve had a chance to run the test, feel free to let us know the results.

    Thank you!
