Product Image URL Stored Incorrectly
-
We were excited that the products could be pulled into the email templates, which is amazing, but I noticed a bug with the image URL scheme that can prevent product images from displaying.
If the WordPress site has the media default setting of ‘Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders’, and the product was imported into Mailchimp in a different month than the original image, the Mailchimp system will try to use the original filename’s year/month, rather than the filename of the year/month of which the Mailchimp email product image file was created.
Here is an example – Mailchimp’s Created File:

https://twopeasdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/central-florida-only-custom-wedding-mirror-sign.jpgThen, the Mailchimp Product template piece attempts to pull In:
https://twopeasdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/central-florida-only-custom-wedding-mirror-sign-5a123fe0.jpgThe system appropriately appends the mailchimp suffix, but inadequately utilizes the original filename with the incorrect date.
Is there a workaround for this? I considered checking the box to unset year/month for new uploads; however, even if there is a way to re-upload the files into Mailchimp, the new filename would be missing the date/year and the original file would have the date/year and I’m assuming the issue would persist (i.e. old file has date, new one lacks date).
I could possibly manually move the files via FTP, but I’m not sure if that would cause issues in the media database, as I don’t think it reads the folder to re-index.
