product images questions

  • Guys, i hope you can help me out with 2 questions.

    Ive added a bunch of products. All of them have .png pictures, all in the same size. Pics in highlight and product gallery.
    However, for some products, the highlighted image shows way bigger than for the for other products. I have no idea how this is possible. Any suggestions?

    Also, ive made product category pages with 4 columns of products. All the pics are really crystal clear and sharp, but on the product category page they are all unclear and slightly blurred. Any idea how this can be fixed? Dont want my customers to come to a show with unsharp product images. Btw they are only unsharp on the category page, once you go on to the product page itself, they are sharp again.

  • A link to your site would be really helpful, along with what theme and plugins you’re using.

    Unrelated to your question though, is there a reason you’re using .png images instead of .jpgs? Do you need .png transparency? If not, .jpg files will be much smaller in size with the same level of quality.
