• Great plugin!

    Question:

For the Product ID on the User Information tab you’re supposed to fill in the following info:

Your Zazzle product id. This is found on your a product’s page. Example zazzle.com/storename/gifts?cg=123456789

However, when I go to a product page I get a DP id instead of CG. If I use this number in the Product ID field, it doesn’t work. What should I do?

When I use the same DP number and add this to producttypes.csv and select this from the Product Type drop down on the Page Layout it doesn’t work either. What to do?

I’m trying to show all clothing items (not only women, men etc) on my site.

    Thanks for your support.

    The DP is a department.

When I want to use just the CG – meaning I just want to show products from a section I take the CG from the address bar as in

    https://www.zazzle.com/nitsupak/gifts?cg=196591280977525414

If I want a department and a section – such as the above section and department “home and pets”, here is the link that is shown

    https://www.zazzle.com/nitsupak/home+gifts?dp=252290587744666646&cg=196591280977525414

Notice that there is a dp AND a cg.

A place where you might get JUST a dp is if you go to your main page and select one of the departments. I did this with clothing and I got

    https://www.zazzle.com/nitsupak/accessories?dp=252170696522219977

Notice, that there is ONLY a DP.

    Thanks.

Sure I understand the differences between CG and DP.

But I can’t use the DP in the Product ID field?

And can I add DP to producttypes.csv?

I’m trying to only get the Clothing & Apparel DP to show on my site… how would I achieve this?

    Thanks!

Sorry about the confusion here. I realize what is going on. Just “clothing” isn’t yet in the CSV file.

You add it to the file this way

    Clothing, 252657725253948300

for just a page, you put:

    productType=’252657725253948300′

There seems to be a lot of items not in the CSV file. Zazzle isn’t very consistent with their documentation. I’m preparing an update of the csv file so that this and other products will appear in the dropdown.

    Thanks for your patience

One more IMPORTANT thing. Make sure there is NO SPACE after the comma in the description when adding something to the CSV file

    Clothing,252657725253948300

Thanks. Adding it to the CSV file doesn’t seem to work. It disable the dropdown on the second tab as wll.

I’m now adding it as a shortcode on the page which works, but it does break the page each time I update it (everything aligned to the left and adding a sidebar??!).

Anyway got it working again with a bit of trouble ??

See my “be careful” posting above about adding the line to the csv file

In any case, I just updated the csv file for version 2.11
