I can’t fix. I changed the words menu_order to
‘popularity’ or ‘price’ but the display of products still keeps showing by modification date.

I would really like to help you however, it will require more modifications rather than changing the menu order. There can be other functions that also required to be changed to achieve that.

I can understand that the requirement might be important for you. However, I have shared with you the file where you can find other functions by tracing existing ones. As I have mentioned earlier, changing in one file might not let you achieve your custom requirement.

Moreover, providing you with all the files and functions precisely where you will need to modify, is not different than providing custom solutions. Because we do not share anything precisely without proper testing. In that case, applying the whole custom solution is the only way to provide you with the proper guidance to achieve the solution.
