Hi, I have this plugin (pro version) and also variable products.

When I have a product with variations with different prices, the price shows like this (example) at the top:

    €15,95 – €19,95

When I select a variation, the €15,95 – €19,95 remains visible, and underneath the variation select box, the price of the variation selected is shown, e.g.:

    €15,95

After a recent update of this plugin, the “€15,95 – €19,95” part at the top is now also changed after a selecting a variation, i.e. it is also changed to “€15,95” in the example above. This particular product doesn’t even use your plugin.

When I disable your plugin, the problem goes away.

A quick grep to what is fired when a variation is selected, I suspect you changed something in easy-woocommerce-discounts-pro/public/js/wccs-product-pricing.js ? It was updated yesterday by an update of your plugin. Maybe not, I didn’t investigate further.

Is it a bug of a feature? Can I change this? I don’t want this.

Follow up: I replaced wccs-product-pricing.min.js with the previous version from a backup, and the problem goes away. Someone has been messing with function changePrice.

    Please fix.

    Hello @webwitnl

Thank you for choosing our plugin.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

It is not a bug but it is a feature to change the product price to the variation price when a variation is selected. It only applies for the bulk pricing rules. So if you don’t have set a bulk pricing rule to a product it shouldn’t work. If you didn’t set a bulk pricing rule on a product but it works, please send us a link to the product page to let us check it out.

There is not an option to disable this feature yet.

The other way is to use a “Live price” feature instead of the “Change price” feature. To use the “Live price” feature, follow the below steps.

    • Refer to the plugin settings – promotion tab – quantity table section.
    • Set the “Change price” option to the “Server side” and save changes.

This way the updated price will be shown as “Your price” instead of changing the product price.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards

Like I said the variable products don’t use this plugin.
    Here’s an example: https://www.wildewolf.nl/product/mergpijp-hond-met-rund-per-stuk/

Your plugin changed the price at the top. It should only show the variation price (as it is now) below the select box of the variation, while the price range should stay at the top.

Even if the variable product would use your plugin, it should do this. I’d have to stop using your plugin if you fail to understand this. It is really weird to change it like this without any warning. I spend two hours to find what on earth broke our site.

It would also appear you didn’t develop or test this with the default woocommerce storefront theme.
