Product "name: missing and required" in Google's new testing tool

Commenting out the following from “author-hreview/include/review_template.php” fixes the error but causes theme problems probably due to a closing tag I am missing
$before_box .= '<div itemtype="https://schema.org/Product" itemscope="">';

Here is what I have done and now it validates

Line 79 commented out
$before_box .= ‘<div itemtype=”https://schema.org/Product&#8221; itemscope=””>’;
Line 186 removed one of the </div> tags (now only two not three in group)
Line 191 removed one </div> tag from group of four to three

I’m getting the same exact error for my HOME page. I’m using WordPress + WooCommerce. I’m not using this plugin you have commented on though.

I’ve just tested the plugin on the Twenty Twelve theme and everything seems to be working fine!

I did remove the hcard from the code since I thought it was unnecessary and I am trying to stick with one type of structured data.
