    Hi there,

I’ve got a number of product categories on my site; T-Shirts, Hoodies etc… I’ve visited the Spreadshirt site backend and manually re-ordered the products that sit within each of these categories, expecting that to update the products ordering shown on my site.

However, this category-based product re-ordering doesn’t seem to be feeding across to my site. My site appears to be pulling across the order seen within the “All Categories” (view all) section of the Spreadshirt backend instead, rather than the individual categories themselves…

    …If that makes any sense?

Is there any way around this rather than manually curating the “All Categories” (view all) area of Spreadshirt?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

well, you did wait some hours before you clicked “Rebuild cache” again? If you reorder the items, you’ve to click rebuild cache to update the cache and the new order. And sometimes it takes some more hours spreadshirt delivers the updated content.

    Hope it helps,

    Best

    Hi Thimo,

I have just tried this again (having just rebuilt the cache) and I still have one pay that just won’t re-order correctly. I’ve checked the ordering on Spreadshirt and this seems fine, and on the page itself I’m only using the short code to refer to the category itself (so I’m not over-riding it with anything)… Strange!

    Any ideas?

hm sorry, really strange. You may play around with the order settings in spreadplugin – it should be “place”.

That’s it… Sorry it was me… I didn’t have this setting set to “place” at the Spreadshirt end. Changed it, re-built my cache and now the ordering is correct as per their site. Many thanks! ??
