Hi,

My website has several pages for the page https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/.

However, both
https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/page/2/

and

https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/?product-page=2

exist

Now for the canonical and indexing this is not good for SEO. I would like to see all my follow up pages in a category like /page/2/ /page/3/ etc. With the correct canonicals..

I set everything good in the permalink settings.

If you go to?https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/?and then scroll down and click on page two.. Divi mades automatticly?https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/?product-page=2

but if you put this url?https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/page/2/?directly in the browser bar, its also working. And this is de url that i want to show if somebody clicks on page two at?https://www.wandelstokkopen.nl/winkel/

this is also happening if we have more products in our category, like, /verstelbare-wandelstok/ (we doesnt have this for this category a page 2 now, but we are a growing company, so in the future all our category pages will have more pages)

page two needs to be /verstelbare-wandelstok/page/2/ and not /verstelbare-wandelstok?product-page=2

How can i set up, that if you click on page 2 at a category page, the url will be /winkel/page/2/? where the customer is getting to directed, instead of /?product-page=2

i want to get rid off /?product-page=2

Also for Google and SEO!

The issue you’re facing is related to the way your theme (Divi) is handling pagination on your WooCommerce shop pages. By default, Divi uses the ?product-page=2 parameter for paginated pages, but you prefer the /page/2/ format for better SEO.

To achieve this, you can try the following steps:
1. Go to your WordPress dashboard, then navigate to Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced.
2. In the ‘Static CSS File Generation’ option, select ‘Disable.’
3. Save changes.
This might force Divi to use the default WooCommerce pagination in the /page/2/ format you prefer.

If this doesn’t work, it might be helpful to reach out to Elegant Themes (the creators of Divi) for support. They might have a more elegant solution to this problem.
