Some of our products, pages and categories and are being classified in Google Search Console and in Screaming Frog as “Non-indexable”. Here is an excerpt from Screaming Frog. Here is one example

    Address https://trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark4-trap/
    URL Encoded Address https://trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark4-trap/
    Content Type text/html; charset=UTF-8
    Status Code 301
    Status Moved Permanently
    HTTP Version 1.1
    Indexability Non-Indexable
    Indexability Status Redirected
    Redirect URL https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark4-trap/
    Redirect Type HTTP Redirect
    Size 0 B
    Title 1
    Title 1 Length 0
    Word Count 0
    Text Ratio 0.00
    Crawl Depth 1

There is no re-directs involved and the web site seems to be working OK.
I fear that, because my products will not appear in Google results, our business will suffer.
Our team are at a loss to figure this out.

    Hi @cullachie ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that some of your sites pages are being classified as Non-indexable by Screaming Frog and Google Search console, correct?

When checking your site https://trapbarn.com/, the only page accessible on my end, is the homepage:

Every other page produces a 403 Forbidden error, as seen in the screenshot below:

I would suggest resolving the 403 Forbidden errors as a first step, as restricted pages are not indexed by Google.

Here is a helpful guide on troubleshooting 403 Forbidden errors on your WordPress site.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @cullachie ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Cheers!
