• Hi,

Was hoping to get some help or advice from the WordPress realm.

Have to create a new manufacturing website. The website will let customers narrow down their purchasing decisions (no ecommerce – merely a catalog type site).

So the hope is a product picker that lets a user choose within a number of parameters:
    Question 1: 2 parameters
    Question 2: 6 parameters
and so forth… until you see choices (more than one) based on your answers.

However – I want the solution (if there is one) to be more elegant than what you see on the left hand side of Amazons website. But not what you may see on an automobile manufacturing site.

In Drupal – the term is “Exposed Filters”. I’m not averse to using Drupal… maintenance can be daunting though.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hah, I have not jumped ship yet. Drupal is not for the faint-of-heart, but does so some really cool things. As a designer though (not a hardcore programmer), you are on the outside looking in. But – in Drupal core there are really cool tools like Exposed Filters that are out-of-the-box, primitive, but takes programming know-how to make them “shiney”. But this is a whole other discussion! :^)

But I have found some woo commerce extensions that seemingly fit my vision for this dev site project.
