Product pics all upload sideways

    I am uncertain if this is a WP problem or Woocom issue. I’ve had to use a plugin that is not compatible with my version of WP and is no longer supported called fix image rotation to get my snaps of products to upload in the correct position. I hope the plugin continues to work.
    Is there any solution. I understand it’s related to metadata issue not only affecting I phones, but androids as well. I use s9.

    Hey there @breaie,

    That sounds like a tricky one! This is indeed a WordPress problem rather than WooCommerce, and has to do with the metadata (exif data) that’s included in the original photo. Here’s some more info:

    Thanks for the link to the article. Sad to hear they not done much about that issue. The plugin is so far still working. Good news is the developer of the plugin stated he was still supporting the plugin.

    I’m glad to hear that it’s a way forward for you. Working with mobile images can definitely be a bit of a pain – I’ve spent my fair share of time struggling with it.
