Product prices are shown without VAT on instagram

What price is showing in the Facebook Catalog that’s linked to your shop? Is it the price that shows on the WooCommerce shop or the price that’s showing on Instagram?

Hi Julie,

In the facebook catalog are showing wrong also, same price that instagram, withou VAT…

Right now I just re-sync (Woocommerce/settings/integrations/Facebook for Woocommerce) the catalog and it’s showing good but in a matter of hours it’s going to show wrong again.

I am having the same issue. When I sync products from my woocommerce shop to facebook, prices shows without VAT. I need prices to show with VAT.
How can I fix it?

The problem persists… Just yesterday I sent an email to support again to see if they fix it…

How do you have woocommerce configured to enter the prices of the products? With VAT or without VAT?

Hello dani, i have managed to solve the problem. I am not sure it will solve your problem, but lets hope it does.
In my case when I connected the facebook for woocommerce plugin with my facebook page, prices were showing to me without VAT, because in my admin profile my country was set to a non-vat country (i was testing purchases shipped to other countries, so my billing address was with another country rather than my base country). So what I did was:
I went to the facebook woocommerce plugin, went to settings and then advanced tab, and deleted my catalog.
Then I proceed to my WordPress admin profile and changed my own billing address to my country (Spain – which does apply vat).
Then I went again to the plugin, and made a new set up, and prices are now showing VAT.

Nuestra tienda está configurada en woocommerce para aplicar el 21% a todos los envíos. Asegúrate en unas pocas de horas o un par de días si siguen mostrandose los precios con IVA… Cuando resincronizas el catálogo yendo al plugin de facebook for woocommerce se muestran bien los precios (con IVA) pero al cabo de una horas o unos días vuelven a mostrase mal, sin IVA… ??

Como mi web aun esta en desarollo, solo hice un test y desactive el catalogo de momento. Así que todavia no podré comentarte si los precios seguirán con IVA a lo largo de las horas.
Los precios en woocommerce los has puesto con IVA o sin IVA?

En woocommerce estamos introduciendo los precios de los productos sin IVA, creo que ese puede ser el problema… A ver si me responden desde soporte pero es raro que al principio los muestre bien con IVA y al cabo de unas horas/días los muestra sin IVA… Y cuando resincronizas pasa lo
que te comenté, que los muestra bien unas pocas de horas y al cabo de un tiempo horas/días los vuelve a mostrar mal, sin el IVA

Nosotros ya tuvimos problemas con clientes y hemos tenido que vender algunos productos al precio que aparecía en facebook e instagram (sin IVA…..) Imagínate que gracia ??

Yo creo que el problema es este. Yo he introducido los precios ya con IVA.
Pero igualmente, se ve que se trata de un fallo del plugin. El catalogo debería ense?ar los precios que tocan ya que has aplicado el IVA a todos los envíos.
Si hay manera, te diría para cambiar todos los precios y incluir el IVA y tener eso solucionado. Pero supongo que no es una cosa tan sencilla, ya que se que cuando lo haces eso acabas involucrando otros problemas en la tienda, ademas del tiempo que tardarás en hacerlo…
A ver si tienes suerte y hacen algo sobre el tema cuanto antes.

I am not having this issue because Ive introduced my prices including VAT.
But if I don’t include, the same issue occurs.
Hope it can be fixed soon.
An idea would be a button, which we could choose whether to show prices with or without VAT in the Facebook catalog.
