This plugin already has a feature for including the GTINs of an order in the Survey Opt-in to allow Google to also gather product reviews from the customers.

Google states in the link you just sent that it strongly relies on GTINs. MPN is only used along with SKU as a fall-back, but they state that it’s very unreliable.

What would you want an XML feed for? I don’t think I understand what you’re looking to do.

    Hi,

I have the same problem of missing GTINs for our products.
We are manufacture our own products, so there is no GTIN. Googles fallback strategy is the use of a combination of MPN and Brand. With this combination our products are registered in the Google Merchant center.

We are using another review platform (Trusted Shops), that implements the functionality of product reviews based on the MPN + Brand combination too.

Will you provide this option soon?

    Sincerely,
    Ralf.

We looked into the possibility of using Brand + MPN to identify products for the product reviews integration.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Google Customer Reviews survey opt-in does not yet support these fields.

According to the integration documentation at https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7519329 (step 3) , GTIN is the only type of data that is accepted by their API.

If Google ever expands this functionality on their end to enable this additional feature, we can definitely add it.
