    Hi there, team –

I love your plug-in! This is a huge advantage for our websites.

We’ve recently encountered a few schema errors though, as we switch to Product Reviews from Local Business Reviews.

Search Console has begun to flag required fields for Product Review schema being missing from the plug-in’s output when you output Review Summary with Schema = True:

    From Search Console:

    Missing field “review”
    Missing field “brand”
    Missing field “sku”
    No global identifier provided
    Missing field “offerCount”

If you could add those fields as optional fields within the plug-in, that would make my life even easier. Again, humongous high-five for creating this software! That would push it just a little further ??

    Thanks a bunch,

    Turing

The fields you mention are “recommended” by Google, but not required for the schema to show. Site Reviews is not intended to be a complete schema solution, it should instead complement your existing site schema. For example, if you are using Woocommerce to sell products, Site Reviews will link to your existing product schema to add the reviews and aggregate rating data of your product.

If you are using both the [site_reviews] and [site_reviews_summary] shortcodes on the same page, then I recommend that you include the schema option on the [site_reviews] shortcode as this will then include the review snippets in the schema.

Please see the FAQ page in the documentation to learn how to add additional values to the schema. Also see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/product-schema-issue/

Perfect, I had not seen that other support thread.

I’ll try and follow the steps outline at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/product-schema-issue/

    Thanks man!
