    Hello,
We’ve been using the CTX Feed plugin for creating product xmls for a client’s website.
A few weeks ago, the client started using the Dynamic Pricing & Discounts plugin in order to create discount rules for products. Yesterday, we were informed that the xml is not exporting the products’ sale prices.
Checking the product’s page, we found out the sale price field was empty (since the sale price is configured by the plugin).

So, now we are wondering if there is some configuration we could do in the CTX Feed in order to export the sale price generated by the Dynamic Prices plugin.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @dimi993

    Thanks for reaching us.

First, determine whether the issue with the sale price attribute being empty occurs on the product page of your website or within the feed. If the sale price is missing on the product page, I recommend contacting the support team for the discount rule plugin. However, if the sale price field is empty in the feed, please reply to this thread with the below resources –

    1. Feed link
    2. A screenshot of the feed config
    3. System status. Go to CTX Feed > Status > Copy and paste the status here
    4. Dynamic discount plugin link which you are using at this moment. It will help us know if the plugin is compatible with CTX Feed.

    Best regards,

    Hello @mansary

Thank you for your quick reply.

After a little research and experimenting, we noticed that although the feed is updated automatically, the sale price is not updating. However, if we click the regenerate button, the sale price is exported in the feed.

We tried clearing the ctx cache but it dodn’t work.

We didn’t find any cron jobs related to CTX Feed on Plesk. Also, the config.php that the line define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true); commented. We changed it to define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, false); but no luck.

We suppose the problem is in the feed auto update.

Today, we checked again the feed that was auto generated. Again, the auto generation does not export the sale price, while the manual regeneration exports the sale price as expected.

I was wondering, if we update the CTX Feed plugin, will the feed auto update work as epected?

The issue seems to be site specific and need to be inspected properly. So, you are suggested to open a ticket here with details – webappick.com/contact

    Hello,
We didn’t find what caused the problme but eventually it was fixed by adding the sales prices through the product editting and not with the plugin.
