Hi, I have a product that WAS in an excluded category but was moved out of it about two weeks ago. Woocommerce products listing shows ‘Do not sync’ in the FACEBOOK SYNC column, and I don’t know how to get that to change…and probably explains why we can’t get it to show in the Facebook Catalog after numrous synchs. Latest version of Woo 5.5.3 and version 2.1.4 of this plugin. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I’m having the same issue, except with excluding by a tag rather than category. It looks like after the initial sync, the plugin flags products as one of the following: Sync and show in catalog; Sync and hide in catalog; Do not sync. In my case, and possibly yours, removing the excluded tag from products did not update the Facebook sync. I don’t know if this is a bug, but a workaround for me was to go into each product and change the Facebook sync setting manually to “Sync and show in catalog”.

Thanks, and you are right, we weren’t looking in the right place! Setting it to “Sync and show in catalog” on the Facebook section on the product page has made it show…thanks once again!

    Hey @dankuwp and @jej12,

Thanks so much for reaching out here. It looks like you’ve figured out a solution, as the plugin does *not* set your excluded tags/categories back to “Sync and show” when you remove them from the exclusions. This is intentional to allow for fine-grained control over what syncs to your Facebook catalog.

As a side note, I might suggest that you can bulk include products from your Product admin page, which would save you some time over editing each product individually.

Are there any other questions I can answer for you? Please don’t hesitate to let me know.

    Thanks,
    Marcus
