Product search doesn’t work

  • Hi!
    I output a shortcode search in the mobile and tablet. But the search is made by posts, and it is necessary for products. The corresponding check mark is set in the settings. I wanted to replace [woocommerce_product_search] with the shortcode. But it doesn’t work.

    Go to Appearance > Customize > General Options > General Settings, scroll down and come search Result Page section, now from here select the Search Source Product and check.

    The check box is selected in the product search. But product search only works on the desktop. It is displayed there using the appearance settings.
    But in the mobile version, the search is still conducted by posts. Here the search is output using a shortcode [oceanwp_search].

    I have products selected. On the desktop, everything is OK. There’s a standard search. And the mobile version has a shortcode. And product search doesn’t work here

    In the mobile version, you have used the search widget. maybe that is the reason it is not working. Try to use the product search widget and check it works or not. Also, test the issue with the search field in the mobile menu to verify it only doesn’t work with the search widget.

    I’m having the same issue.
    As I see no real fix here, I thought I would revive the post.
    Search does not work AT ALL, main header search or widget search.
    It always results in sending me to the Category Page instead of displaying results
