Product search issue with specific format only

    I found an issue with WooCommerce product search for few specific keyword patters only. Instead of proper/empty result page, search is redirecting to home page without throwing any errors.

    Only WooCommerce plugin is currently active on site and I had also tested same with default WordPress theme and keeping all other plugins in disable mode.

    Looks like for this pattern( Any number + SQL reserved keyword like insert, update… ) it’s breaking.

    Thank you for post here!

    I’ve done some testing with just WooCommerce and the default Storefront theme, and am not seeing the same thing though. I tried with several combinations of numbers and SQL reserved words, and they seemed to search as usual — a few examples:

    Since you have only WooCommerce active, and are using a default WordPress theme, it’s possible the behavior you are seeing is due to security settings on your server, or redirects / settings in the .htaccess file on your site. I would recommend reaching out to your hosting company to ask about this — it’s possible they will know what is causing the behavior you are seeing.
