Product short description from Woocommerce

I wanted the product short description from WooCommerce to be added in my Meta Description. I followed as they said here, but it doesn’t work https://twitter.com/yoast/status/533145157366206464

https://elscampaners.cat/screenshot-product.jpgshows how I set the products in the “Titles and Metas” and the second part is one example of a product where I have the short description but it doesn’t count. It counts actually 1 word when I have nothing in the long description.
How can I do that both, long and short description, count for seo yoast? Thanks!
