    Hey,
If I set a product to have all stock values at 0, it will display frontend as unavailable.

I have a backorder location set up, and correctly works when other stock is present.

A lot of my products remain out of stock, and available on backorder. So these need to be available as it will affect a large number of products.
    _____

The reason for the locations plugin is so I can use the /location/ pages as an “in stock” page.
This works, as I have another plugin that treats all variations as simples. Therefore, when you visit /location/ and apply a filter, it treats variation with 0 stock for that location as out of stock and only displays what is available.
However, outside of the /location/ pages, I still need the backorder products to be available to purchase.
The issue is, if I have a product with 0 stock for any location at the current time, it stops it from display on the /shop/ end to backorder.

I hope that makes sense, and I hope you can help me find a solution.

I have made several new products to test the issue, and I believe I’ve managed to solve the issue through bulk edits, and allowed the backorder products to display correctly at 0 stock.

I did come across some issues with having products stuck display as “Out of Stock” should there be any error in assigning the location > manage stock > update product in the correct order.

I will try the bulk editor, as I assume that’s more reliable than importing the custom meta stock values through a .csv file? I have had issue with those appearing as Out of Stock, when the stock values are 0, even if I import the “Stock” as “Backorder”, and “backorder available?” as “1”

    Hi @rockcityharry

In the last update, when the stock is updated if backorder is enabled and quantity superior to 0 it shows instock, with quantity equal to zero should be onbackorder.
