product sorting on builder theme

I use the builder theme through themeforest.net the developer quit supporting the theme so I cannot go through theme. The store has a couple issues and temporarily until I slowly finish building a new theme I want to sort by product alphabetically on the product pages.

I am not using the category pages through the theme, they have issues, I am using custom created pages with the product listings on them.

If anyone has the builder theme I just want to sort the product alphabetically using a custom page and a product listing widget(?). I tried to sort the product alphabetically through the category settings page, didn’t work.
