All size variations are available, even though some aren’t in stock. When i ‘click’ on one of the variations to select it, all variations get an update, and show me that some variations are not available anymore (correct).

I cannot find the call responsible for it.
Is this something you can advice me in?
    – No caching installed.

Also, when i disable/enable the swatches in the Archive of the Woocommerce builder, nothing happens. I can disable them, but they still show.

    Hello @franklincmn ,

Thank you for reaching us. Are you talking about variation swatches on your single product page? It’s working perfectly as far as I can see.

If you want to disable our variation swatches then go to ProductX > Addons > Disable the variation swatches addon from there.

Let me know if that helps.

Hello @azimkhan123, thank you for your response. No, i do not want to disable the swatches.

If you see for example: this detail-page (single-product)
    https://www.byolga.nl/product/another-label-broek-moore-pine-groove/

You can choose between the sizes XS, S, M, L
Even though XS and L aren’t available. Once you select one of the sizes, something get’s ‘updated’ and it will show that XS and L are out of stock.

The same happens on a category page (archive).
    https://www.byolga.nl/product-category/sale/

For example: The first product shows XS, S, M , L available. Once you select once of the sizes, stock get’s updated and it will show you that L is not available.

This should be visible on the initial load, not after a user interaction. Usually i got issues like this with some strong caching features enabled. But that is not the case.

    Hello @franklincmn,

Thank you for bringing this issue to us. We designed the feature in this way. You will only see this when you click on it. I will add your suggestion to our feature request section so that the development team can take a look.

Posting here to second this, I would also like to see this changed or have the option to show out-of-stock and disabled variation status immediately upon load.

It feels like poor UX to set an initial expectation that a product could be purchased, and then reveal that it is actually out-of-stock or disabled (or back-ordered too, I assume). This can be dissapointing to users and confusing to non-tech savvy users.

Are there any plans to make this change? Or any PHP functions that could be added as a workaround? Thank you.

    Hi @sarahrbcom

We have decided to implement an solution regarding this. If all the variations get out of stock then Variation swatches option won’t be showed on the out of stock products.
