    Hi,

I’m working on an ecommerce website, so I have color and size as product attributes. Apparently, Woocommerce allows us to add an image to each variation, but do I really have to add an image to every single one of them?

I’m a bit concern about the size of the page, actually. Say, if a product comes in 3 colors (e.g. red, green, blue) and 6 sizes, then that means there would be 3 sets of identical images – 6 same images in red, 6 in green, and 6 in blue. Obviously, this is quite redundant, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to assign an image to certain configured term (color in this case) so that I don’t have to add 6 identical images to different size-variation of the same color.

    Please advice.

    Best regards,

Required if you need both images, and stock management, for each variation.

If there is not per-variation stock management, you could have a variation per color, and leave ‘size’ set to ‘any’.
