Product Variation Title

    Thanks for creating this wonderful plugin. I am using it on all of my sites for google and facebook catalogs.

    However, I’ve run into a problem lately. The plugin creates an appendix for variations of a product using the variable. That’s great to get all variations onto catalogs. I just want to get rid of the variable appendix in the product title and can’t see how I can do this.

    This is especially necessary for facebook dynamic ads, because if I choose to show the title of a product (which I intend to do) it always shows the appendix as well. So instead of showing “shirt” it shows “shirt S” or “shirt M”. I think that could potentially be misleading and I would rather have the parent’s title assigned to all variations. So the feed should have the same title name for all variations. Is that possible?

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    I believe what you want it already an existing feature of our plugin. If you do not want to have appendixes added to the product names for your variants than you need to create this field mapping:

    thank you for your quick and helpful answer. Your suggestion absolutely makes sense and works as supposed. I must have overlooked this solution as I was configuring my feeds all day long. Your plugin is really awesome and is by far the best on the market, and I tested a lot.
