I obviously need a brain upgrade, as I can’t seem to find this anywhere.

I have created a product, an attribute and variations. I’ve added the attribute and some of the variation, created all varions, filled out the information for each variation, and published the product.

Now I find that I need to add another variation to that product from the list of variations. How?

I’ve tried the “Add new variation” option (which seemed to make sense) and it did create a new variation (named “Any variation”), but all it gave me to choose which variation I wanted was the choice of “Any variation” plus the variations I’d already added. And there’s no way to change “Any variation” to anything else.

  • Hi @promosapiensau

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you want to add a new variation to your existing variations, is that correct?

Have you added the new value to the existing attribute already?

I replicated the scenario on my personal site having three (3) variations which are already existing:

Now, I will be adding another value 150 pcs to the existing attributes’ value:

When I click Add Variation, I am also seeing the Any Packs as well as the new value 150 pcs added to the drop down.

Now, you can set the price and other data to this new variation.

Can you please try the steps above and see if that works on your end?

Otherwise, please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Thanks!
