    Hi

I’m working on a client project at the moment which is selling meat online. We want to have 500g and 1kg options only.

Therefore I have setup Product Variations so if they choose 500g then the correct pricing shows up and same for 1kg.

The issue I am having is that on the SHOP page I don’t want it to show “$21.99 – $42.00” underneath the product title under each product in the Shop area. I know this is the default display in Woocomerce when changed from “Simple” to “Variable” product.

It looks a bit messy on the Shop page displaying that and I see other sites don’t display this. Most sites are only selling as 1kg lots but we want to sell in lots of 500g and 1k options hence I have to do variable option.

Obviously when a Variable product option is chosen you have to click on “SELECT” button underneath the “$21.99 – $42.00″

I know I could hide the field, but there are some products like milk and eggs that need to show as a Simple product, so if I hide the ‘Price field” then client cannot click on “BUY NOW” for these simple products.

I did think of using a Product ADD On plugin and am testing 1 product with that, I renamed the product as “Porthouse Steak $21.99/kg” which works, but I have to put the base $$$ as $0 which then I don’t want that displayed as the price in the Shop Page … and I can’t hide that field either as I need the milk and eggs displaying the Simple pricing.

Does someone have a workaround idea that I can try ?

Maybe another plugin (paid or free) that will work to help with this scenario. I’ve been googling to see what else I can do as options.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Kristin
