Product variations (add to cart) not working

    Hi there,

    I am having an issue with attributes & think there may be a bug.

    On the above link, I am having an issue when I try and add anything with the ‘Fairy’ wings attribute.

    All attributes are set up and they work for the ‘Angel’ option & add to the cart & show the options selected, yet when ‘Fairy’ is selected, all options are added except that option.

    I have moved my site to a staging environment, deactivated all plugins except Woo & installed Storefront & still, it appears to be happening, which would lead me to believe there is something that’s going wrong as the other term with that attribute works perfectly & othe attributes also work.

    I am working to a project deadline so do need a fix for this ASAP

    If you place a test order, do all the variations including Fairy get saved in the backend?

    By any chance, have you applied a custom code to show variations in separate rows? I have a test site with the Storefront theme, and variations are displayed as part of the product name:

    Hello,

    I have placed a test order & it does not show on the order on the backend, apologies I meant to put that in my first message.

    I haven’t done any customising of variations & being that it wasn’t on the order, would indicate somethings gone array.

    This site is still in development and is not in a position to start afresh and would rather not have to have the products separated based on one single attribute not working when all others are.

    Hello,

    I’ve just renamed the product to something different & taken out Angel or Fairy for the product title & now Fairy seems to be working.

    Is there a reason as to why this would now work if it worked for Angel & not Fairy?

    Hello,

    You won’t be able to reproduce it as I mentioned and you quoted, I changed the product name on the staging site provided so this is now working.

    My question still remains as to why this occurred in the first place as there were no plugins, no themes, it was just Woo & WP, everything worked for all other attributes & the other term within the mentioned attribute worked, so there was clearly something happening here, which was not user-driven.

    Alas, I resolved the issue. I just want to know why changing the product name has resolved this?

    Also there is a further issue with this support forum, I have “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” yet haven’t had any emails come through for any of these replies.

    Since we’re unable to reproduce the issue, it doesn’t seem like a bug but probably the setup.

    Also, we’re unable to perform a root cause analysis for this scenario since the issue is setup-based.

    However, feel free to notify us if the issue springs up again so we can dive deeper, otherwise, you can make a staging site for testing along.
