Product variations details don’t save! ALL GONE. This is urgent! 3.0 update.

    Hello,

    I updated to 3.0…
    What a mess….

    My product variations are all gone! I re-entered all the information again, hit SAVE ATTRIBUTES, then UPDATE PAGE. I go to the page to view it, it shows up, but, then I go back to the PRODUCTS PAGE and EDIT the product again, but all the variations are gone! This is for all products.

    Please help, my store needs to launch by Friday ?? or else I’m out the money.

    The relationship between variations and products has not been changed here and I’ve not encountered this on other stores or text sites. Have you disabled other plugins yet to see if this is simply a conflict? The variations get loaded in via AJAX so this could be broken.

    @mikejolley Over reacted…heh. I didn’t update my PHP version to 5.6. It’s working like a dream now. People who do not update to PHP 5.6 will have this issue where the variations disappear.

    Last thing I need to do is update MySQL database version…

    What were you on previously? Not aware of incompatibilities. We run unit tests from 5.2 to 7.1

    @mikejolley , I just refresh and my variations are down again…It doesn’t display any variation.

    Woah, thats a lot of work gone… Can you please take a look in my backend see why it would do that?

    What if my MySQL is 5.5 and not 5.6…would that make a difference? Also, I see the items and after awhile they all disappear (variations of the product)

    All I know is that when I updated to 3.0 …. I started to get these errors, and weird situations.

    We’re trying to confirm a problem. No luck yet.

    Just wanted to say that we are having the exact same issue. If we can help in any way, let us know. We were originally using the plugin WooCommerce Show Attributes.
    This plugin gave us warning messages on the cart page after the update. We deactivated it and now we have issues that are exactly the same as above. Not sure if this helps

    Same problem in several pages that I maintain.

    It is a problem of Woocommerce, I have tested it in several configurations.

    My clients can not create new products.

    Something is trashing variations (if you have the same problem, which it doesn’t sound like all of you are so please don’t guess). We have not found what yet, but running this SQL does restore the variations.
