I can choose an option, but when I click on “toevoegen in winkelwagen” a warning comes that says: Choose a product option. But I just did. Why is it not working

I have checked the plugins, but I do not know how to fix this. Can anyone help?

  • Same here, it’s happening since the update to 8.5.1, see my topic:

    Do you use WP-Optimize?

I do not use the same plugins as you did @jackennilsen. And now it is also not working with desktop. If I try it in an other website of mine, with the same plugins it is working. I do not understand why it is nog working anymore.

    Hello sramselaar,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support

I understand you’re encountering an issue on your checkout page. Where you have selected a product option, but when you attempt to add the item to your cart, an error prompts you to choose an option, as if it were not recognized.

Since this could be related to a variety of causes, including conflicts with your theme or other plugins, or possibly a JavaScript issue, I need to take a closer look at your system’s configuration.

Could you please provide us with a copy of your site’s System Status Report?

To access this report, please follow these steps:
    1. Go to the WooCommerce section within your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to ‘Status’.
    3. Click on ‘Get system report’ at the top of the page.
    4. Then, click on ‘Copy for support’ to copy the entire system report.

Once you have obtained the system report, please paste the text onto https://gist.github.com to create a Gist. This will generate a link that you can share with us.

By sharing the Gist link in your following reply, we can review the detailed report and better understand what might be causing the problem.

We appreciate your cooperation and are looking forward to your response so we can help resolve this issue for you. ??

    Best regards.

    Thank you.

In the description it says there is no short code or woocommerce block but there is. In the beginning my website was made by someone else and he used elementor pro with it. I do not have a subscription for elementor pro anymore.

    Hi there @sramselaar ??

Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further and sharing the site’s System Status Report (SSR).

In the description it says there is no short code or woocommerce block but there is. In the beginning my website was made by someone else and he used elementor pro with it. I do not have a subscription for elementor pro anymore.

In order to isolate the issue’s culprit, I’d recommend going ahead with a conflict test, as a next step. Details for doing so are linked here.

I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

I found the culprit plugin. It is Autoptimize from Frank Goossens (futtta). I deactivate it for now and will let the maker know that there is a conflict with variation products. Both on desktop and mobile.

Hi @sramselaar , first and foremost try to identify what is breaking the variations by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be ??

I became aware that there is another plugin Jetpack boost that was working simultaniously, maybe the two plugins were conflicting. But my problem of product variations is resolved and I am glad.
