Check that minify is not active on admin pages. I don’t think it is.

Did you temporarily deactivate all other plugins to be able to rule out a plugin conflict.

ok just did… it was the custom order statuses plugin which was making all the mess…
would need to replace it with some other plugin

just check by disabling all the plugins… chrome console wouldn’t help you in this one…
