    Hey betumayo,
    In Theme Options > Shop Settings set Display product tabs to Off.

    awesome that worked!
    now i have another question. the different product sizes have different prices, in the product listing the two prices are being shown as a range. i would like only the lower price to be shown and not a price range, is that possible?

    That is woocommerce default. You would need to use a custom function to change in which case you would need a child theme. You can read about child themes here- https://www.kadencethemes.com/child-themes/
