    Hello,

First of all, really nice plugin! Thank you!

    My questions are:
    – I need event when the user review the single product page. In my notes this is added as “Product Details Views eec.detail”.
When I installed and setup the plugin I don’t see similar event. I only see gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC when I change the variation of variable product.
Is there an event only for single product page view? Please provide information how to get this event.

    – Other event I need and I see working on other websites which are using your plugin is “gtm4wp.productClickEEC” event. I see a <span class=”gtm4wp_productdata”> with all needed information before each product listed in the website but I don’t see the event “gtm4wp.productClickEEC” when I click on a product. Can you help me with that?

    – On my homepage I have products which are loaded with ajax after click on Load more product button. How can I track their impressions?

Btw I am using Woodmart theme. However, I checked your advices and activated Storefront theme to check if this will change something but everything was the same.

I would appreciate it if you could provide the following information for me!

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Product detail action for simple products is included in the data layer generated in the head section for your site. If your GA pageview tag has been configured to read enhanced ecommerce data, it should pickup product detail data as well.

For variable products, no product detail data is present in the data layer on the page load. This is because WooCommerce has different product IDs for the root product and for variations. To make sure that metrics like ‘cart to detail rate” and ‘buy to detail rate’ work fine, the product detail data needs to use the product ID of the variable product itself. This is why you see gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC event(s).
This event includes product detail data, any GA event firing on that event and picking up enhanced ecommerce data will send the product detail action of the variable product.

About missing the gtm4wp.productClickEEC event: you do not have any published version in your GTM container yet. Because of that, GTM is not loading properly on your site. The product click event listener is checking this and since GTM has not been loaded, the script assumes there is an active ad blocker and does not do anything. Publish a live GTM container version and you will start seeing gtm4wp.productClickEEC

Homepage: that needs a lot of custom coding since the extra loaded products do not seem to include the product data GTM4WP is adding to the source on a normal product list generation process.
