• I have restricted a product not to be visible from the country where i live.

Everything works fine, except if you go to “shop page” , its still visible , of course you cant access it , not even buy it (it show up “read more button) , but still visible in the main shop archive page.

I tried with a couple of different countries, since i have access to different VPS (ip/country) servers, result is same.

WordPress , Woocommerce , latest version with Hello Elementor theme.

    Hi @optimystery @acidburnsmk,

Could you please share a screenshot of the Catalog Visibility options from plugin settings?

    Thanks ??

I have it set to ‘hide completely’

Could it be that the shop page is outside of the loop somehow?
This is the unmodified Storefront theme shop page.

    Hi @optimystery,

When you set the option to ‘Hide completely’, the restricted product will be completely hidden from the shop page. If you’re using a custom template for the shop page, it’s possible that the shop page is outside of the loop.

    Thanks,
    Kuldip

I’m just using the Storefront (most commonly used default WooCommerce theme) default. There is no custom template.

“Storefront does not have it’s own file rendering the shop page, it is using hooks to modify the content of the woocommerce/templates/archive-product.php file inside the plugin directory.”

Any update on this? Does the above make sense and already accounted for?

I’ve had to leave a bad review because basic functionality of this plugin is missing. Storefront is the default WooCommerce theme, and the shop page is what most people would use as a landing page. If you can find a fix for this I will be happy to remove the 1-star review.
