I watched numerous videos on how to set up my Jigoshop and created a product to sell.

Under the Advanced tab, under pages I set the “Shop Page” to relate to “My Store” which is the page on my menu bar.

After creating my product and publishing I clicked on “My Store” but all that shows is the big words ALL PRODUCTS and under it is an empty square and under that on the left it say My Store and to the right it says FREE and under those two is a blue Add to cart tab.

I went back to the product page that I created and clicked on “Preview Changes” and then the image and everything shows up and it is on the “My Store” page so I do not know what I need to do. Thanks.

    Hi
Please review your permalink structure – most likely it’s the cause of this issue ??

Wow, this is really confusing to me.

I went to the permalink page and under option and made some changes and it was really weird. There’s no place for a screen shot so this is what my main menu looks like:

Home Articles My Store Affiliate Stores Blog
My menu tabs: the background is green and the text white but when you click on the one you go to the background will turn black and the text a light green.

As I said above, I had made some changes in the permalink and under the Jigoshop pages I set the “Shop Page” to show up at “My Store.” When I previewed a page it would show up on my “Affiliate Stores” page but actually that page no longer existed because the “My Store” tab was black and green.

If I clicked on the “My Store” tab it would turn black and green but the product woulodhn’t show, it would do as I had told you my preveious email. But then if I click on the “Affiliate Stores” tab the product would show, but as I said, the “My Store” tab would turn to black and green.

I have no idea what is going on so deleted pages and rebuilt new ones and below shows what my permalink page looks like. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what to do because out of all the stores I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot, Jigoshop is the best for me.

    Optional
If you like, you may enter custom structures for your category and tag URLs here. For example, using topics as your category base would make your category links like https://powersuppsandmore.com/topics/uncategorized/. If you leave these blank the defaults will be used.

    Category base “blank”
    Tag base “blank”
    Product category base “product-category”
    Product tag base “product-tag”

    Product permalink base
These settings control the permalinks used for products. These settings only apply when not using “default” permalinks above.

    Default https://powersuppsandmore.com/?product=sample-product
    Product https://powersuppsandmore.com/product/sample-product/
    Shop base https://powersuppsandmore.com/my-account/sample-product/
    Shop base with category https://powersuppsandmore.com/my-account/product-category/sample-
    product/
    Custom Base https://powersuppsandmore.com/my-store/

Enter a custom base to use. A base must be set or WordPress will use default instead.

    Hi
Please contact me at [email protected], since my options to help you here are quite limited ??

My entire store is down now after doing updates. I know it is a problem with permalinks, but no combination of WP and Jigoshop permalinks seems to fix it. Client is very irate.

Is there any possibility of you guys posting the solution to this? All of the threads I see about it are solved in private, which doesn’t help us fix it ourselves.

Sorry to be pushy, but it’s Christmas shopping time and the shop has been down for many days now. I really appreciate your help.

We resolve most of these in private because:
    1. There is no single reason behind it – theme related, overcustomizing, permalinks, database corruption, incompatible plugins and so on.
    2. The product (Jigoshop as a plugin) never causes such issues on its own, making it nearly impossible to pinpoint the possible cause just by taking a look at what’s happening on the site.
