Products by rating widget

Hello,

I was curious if anyone can tell me how the products by rating widget works in woocommerce. I’m currently using the widget but products with higher reviews and star ratings aren’t showing up on the list and products with lower ratings and reviews are. Is there a way to reset the widget? How does it decide what products to list if it doesn’t follow a highest to lowest list view? Thanks for in input and any help.
