    Hello,

I’m working on an e-shop and tried to add a plugin to filter products by categories.
But in Products>Categories, I can see the list of my products categories but the Total for each categorie = 0, yet I have added products in each categories.

When I filtered my products on the shop with woocommerce filter, I can see the products of the categorie I selected but on the list (total products option is activated) all the products totals are = 0.

Why does Woocommerce thinks I don’t have any products on my categories ?

    Thanks for your help.

tried to add a plugin to filter products by categories.

What plugin are you using to try to achieve this? It may very well be that you need to contact the plugin’s developer regarding this issue.

I can’t access your shop’s site to see this behaviour. Can you please share a screenshot of what this looks like on the back and front end?

    Hello. Thanks for answering me.

    This is my problem :

No matter the plugin, you can see that no product appears in any products category, inside Woocommerce plugin.
I don’t understand why because I added categories to my products when I created it and it has been saved.

What could solve this problem ?

    Thank you

Obviously I can’t add pictures in my posts.

I’m having the same issue on multiple sites.

As you can see from the second image, no product categories are displayed. The only time I can find any of my product categories is when I manually search for them like in the first image.

Also, the ‘Screen Options’ and ‘Help’ buttons on the top to sort don’t work either, but only in the WooCommerce category page, they work in other parts of the admin menu.

Not only that, but I am unable to add product categories through Appearance > Menu as they don’t even show up. This has happened to me on two different sites already and it seemed to have started with the new update. I’ve already disabled all plugins and nothing changes, it’s an obvious problem with WooCommerce. Looking forward to a solution so I can actually start working.

    Hi there,

I have looked at my test site, which is running the latest version of WooCommerce and WordPress as well as Storefront theme, and I cannot recreate the issue that is being described here. That leads me to believe that there is a conflict occurring on each of your sites.

As you can see here, this is a screenshot of my test site with product categories showing:

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site. Note that Health Check may not count Storefront as a default theme, so you can also use Twenty Seventeen as well.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    Hi !

    Problem is finally solved !
This counting problem was just because my stocks were empty. This works very well since I changed stock’s status.

    Have a nice day
