Products do not appear on Wishlist page

We have been checking on “hnwgallery.com” and seem that you are using the TI WooCommerce Wishlist plugin and our shortcode [yith_wcwl_wishlist], for this reason, it’s not working.

We suggest you to install the YITH Wishlist plugin or use the correct shortcode for the other plugin.

Check it and let us know any news.

About the problem with the logged users, can you give us more information about the issue, please?

I had installed the TI Wishlist plugin when I didn’t believe I could get any support from YITH on fixing their plugin. However, now that we’re in contact, I will disable the TI plugin. Please note that I was having this issue on the YITH Wishlist plugin BEFORE I installed the TI plugin.

As soon as I get the TI Wishlist plugin removed, I will let you know so that you can take a look. Here is the problem you will see (from before): “For example, I can add items to the Wishlist no problem, but when I click on the Wishlist icon or the Wishlist link to see the Wishlist page, the page is empty with no items (even though the Wishlist icon shows there are items in the Wishlist).

The question about the logged users comes from another user (“ageroth”) and that is not me. Not sure how they were able to participate in our chat, since I’m logged in to my account.

I removed the TI Wishlist plugin and activated the YITH Wishlist plugin.

As you can see, I’m still having the same issue.

About your issue, I have been testing and seem that the issue can be related to the site cache, can you let me know if you are using any cache plugin?

If you have one, you can make some test excluding the Wishlist plugin from the cache or try with the plugin deactivated.

Check it and let us know any news.

I contacted our server host and asked them to exclude the “Wishlist” page from caching.

That fixed the problem!!

We’re still having problems with the YITH Wishlist plugin.
The product we sell (fine art) comes in different sizes.
So when a customer selects the size and adds it to their wishlist, it shows up on the wishlist page with a SELECT OPTIONS button beside it (instead of an ADD TO CART button).
And if they click on the SELECT OPTIONS button, it takes them back to the Product page where they have to select a size (even though they already selected a size before they added it to their wishlist).
So if they’ve already selected a size and added it to their wishlist, shouldn’t the button inside the wishlist say ADD TO CART instead of SELECT OPTIONS?
Do you have any ideas on how we can fix this?
If you want to try testing it on the site, please let me know and I’ll reactivate the wishlist plugin.

Problem is with product status into function yith_wcwl_get_hidden_products.
File functions.yith-wcwl.php at line 275.
If You add value catalog to array $query_args then works fine.
Problem is, if administrator set other value than Catalog/search for attribute Catalog visibility then post meta _visibility value is not visible.
Solution: product must have Catalog visibility value set to Catalog/search
Tested on woocommerce 2.6.14 ( rule if < 3.0.0 at line 270 into file functions.yith-wcwl.php ).

Unfortunately, at this moment, only is added to the wishlist the main product and not the variation, then to add the product to the cart you will have to select again the variation.

Do you know where I can find the functions.yith-wcwl.php file?

I’ve been looking through Appearance > Customize and also through Appearance > Editor but can’t seem to find it.

The file is placed into plugins directory: /wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist/includes/
Plugins folder is not available in the administration panel.
You have to connect to FTP server where are the website files placed.

I’m still facing the problem. The weird thing is that only exists for logged-in users, as a guest the wishlist is populated correctly, but as a logged-in user there are no products added to the wishlist page!
Any ideas ?

PS. I tried the caching issue (the server doesn’t provide any caching whatsoever and I deactivated the caching plugins from my WP) but it didn’t work.
