  • Hi annasue,

Have you added that product to a catalogue? The way it works is you need to create product and add that product to a catalogue. Once done, you then add the catalogue shortcode to a page / post to display your products. For example:
    [product-catalogue id=’X’]

Make sure to replace X with your catalogue ID. You can find the shortcode and the catalogue ID under the “CATALOGUES” tab.

I created a catalog, added a category and added a product and added the shortcode to the page.

    Hi annasue,

The login information didn’t work, but unfortunately we’re not allowed to accept login credentials through the WordPress public forums anyway.

What is the exact shortcode you’ve added to this page: https://jvdiamond.com/wp/shopping/ ?

    [product-catalogue id=’2′]

If you go to the “Shopping” page, you will see it is call a catalog but no products or categories are showing.

    Hi annasue,

It seems that there’s some formatting being added to the shortcode text, and hence it isn’t being interpreted correctly (WordPress accepts only plain-text quotes for shortcodes).
    You could try the following:

    [product-catalogue id='2']

I get exactly the same results. There is NO CODE or TEXT on the page other than your shortcode.

    Hi annasue,

Could you please confirm if you added the products to the catalog correctly? If you navigate to the “Catalogues” tab and select your catalog, what products do you see added to the catalog ?(you could find this info in the table shown near the bottom right part of the page)

If you see nothing in this table, then you haven’t added any product to the catalog and hence you see an empty catalog on the front-end. You could add products to the catalog by using the tables on the bottom left part of the page.

Another thing you could try is that that you could create a new catalog and add products to this catalog. Now use the shortcode for this catalog and see if this displays the products.

I have added a category and a product to the category. I told you that before. I can see this plugin is not going to work for me. Thank you for your help.
