Products imported but posts not showing up

Can you try visiting your permalinks settings page, change nothing there, and hit save. Once done, try the product url again and see if it shows up finally.

That worked. Now the product posts are showing up. Thank you very much!

So now I am trying to publish a post using the shortcode. For example:

using this code: [product_content id=569 length=50]
for this product post: https://thesteadyhandblog.com/products/beige-brown-and-green-reversible-yarn-bag-for-crochet-or-knitting-s19/

I changed it to:
[product_content id=beige-brown-and-green-reversible-yarn-bag-for-crochet-or-knitting-s19]

Is that right? Nothing is showing up.

From the looks of it, the plugin is set up to only use the numeral ID of the product, not the slug as well.

From the looks of it, you’d need to use [product_content id=34350] for your current example. We don’t have easy ways to determine the ID in the plugin at the moment sadly, but I did file an enhancement ticket to help with that.

You should always be able to find the ID for a given product by clicking in to edit it, and then check the URL. You will see a numeral ID, which is the value you’ll want.
