    Hello,

I am using the automatic settings on the plugin and I’m finding that some data is getting removed from the original order on split. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I attached some screenshots for reference.

    Thank you

I think it’s creating a new order and removing parent order. You should uncheck the parent order removal checkbox and then see if new orders are created and parent order is still there with complete meta values instead of removing these.

That is how it’s set currently unfortunately. The parent order stays, which is the one screenshot, it’s just the new orders that are created seem to not copy those fields.

Here’s a screenshot of my settings if it helps:

Is it possible that you send me a screenshot of meta keys of parent order? So i can check if these are default or custom somehow, because i have already worked on meta key cloning in previous versions.

Sure. They are part of a shipping packages meta field:

The bottom link is also a parent order and a split child example

So in fact this key “_shipping_packages” is being lost?

    Thread Starter scopmiles

    (@scopmiles)

Exactly. I haven’t looked into the plugin code at all but somewhere that data is being missed in the copy. If there’s anything I can do please let me know

Sure, you can test it again and schedule a time with me to test it on your system. Testing it together will help us to sort it out quickly.

No luck with further testing unfortunately. I’m not sure if my portal request submissions went through?
