Products Not Sorting On Carousel

Hi, i just installed the plugin, assigned a category to all my products, went into the category count and sorted the products in the order i wanted, on the shop page they are all showing in the correct order, but i have used a product carousel shortcode plugin, which shows a carousel of products based on various options, ie featured or category, so i have selected the category, but they do not display in the same order as my shop page, is this something the pro version fixes?
