products on homepage

Hello,

how can i place products on homepage?
there is an area FEATURE PRODUCTS on homepage, but when add widget products from shop then its displayed very ugly in rows the products. Left name and at right side very small thumbnail from product.

how can display products in tile. Means 4 nice products per row, with big(ger) image, then under the picture name and price??

i searched and i can NOT find.

there is an possiblity to place images, but when choose images there are no prices displayed and when click on a image, then opens a blog..

this is NOT needed.

can you please tell me how can this be fixed?
