  • Hi Rcawd,

    Where are you dragging and dropping? Are you doing it for a specific catalogue in the “Catalogues” tab, or in the “Categories” tab, or somewhere else?

    Also, which area are you trying to order (i.e. the products in the catalogue, the categories in the sidebar, the products withing a category, etc.)?

    Thank you

    Products of categories. If you want to try I have created an admin account for you.

    Thx

    @rcawd: I’m 100% sure you mean well but please never offer login credentials on these forums. Really – do not do that here.

    The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice, however, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then the plugin author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    I never write credentials in a post and only for the author of the plugin.

    Please do not post that here.

    Hi rcawd,

    If you mean that you’re adding categories to the catalog, you can arrange the products by clicking on a specific category on the “Categories” tab, and then dragging and dropping the products there.

    I have a problem with the order of the products of categories

    Hi rcawd,

    If you go to the “Catalogues” tab and click on the catalog you want, you can use the drag and drop to arrange the products and categories in your catalog into the order you want.

    I know but doesn’t work.

    Hi rcawd,

    Could you please tell us if there are any JavaScript errors coming up on the page where you’re trying to drag and drop?

    (@rcawd)

    No errors.

    Hi rcawd,

    Can you please list the exact steps you are taking in the admin to do the drag and drop? (i.e. what tabs you are going to, exactly where you’re dragging and dropping, what buttons you are clicking, etc.)

    It’s very hard for us to diagnose the issue you’re having without more detailed information.

    Thank you

    Could it be a configuration issue? The drag and drop seems to be updating for my catalog…did you change any PHP or CSS files?

    Did you try deactivating and activating the plugin again? Sometimes that may help the issue…I suddenly had a 403 FORBIDDEN Error while adding products and I deactivated and reactivated it went away…

    – I click on “Product Catalogue” Plugin;
    – I click on “Categories” Tab;
    – I click on the concerned category;
    – I drag and drop the products of the category
    – I click on the save button

    Hi rcawd,

    We have tested your steps on three browsers (Chrome, Firefox and IE10) and all have worked properly.

    Would you mind contacting us through e-mail to access the situation into more details?

    Best regards,
