• Some products randomly show a US price even though the customer is in Australia.

They appear correctly in the cart but in any category view (home page with ‘latest products’ etc or if you click through the single product page the price is showing the regular price instead of the manual australian price…but other products are showing correctly?

Clearing WC transients did not help…

Can I send you my website details for you to look?
    Thanks

Also on other products now after you add the product to your cart, the single product page now shows the incorrect price ($US)…before you added to the cart the price was right…
The cart price is still correct the single product page is not after adding to the cart ??

I worked out the single product page after you add an item to the cart actually refreshes to show the AU price, but it is using the exchange rate price (even though I have set the products to use a manual price)

This is a live site with a lot of traffic…would love some help on this. Will definitely donate too.

Do you use a Cache plugin?

    Thread Starter bergrachael

    (@bergrachael)

I haven’t installed one, but I believe there is something automatically installed by my host….

Would this account for the plugin using the exchange rate even though I’ve set the manual price?
    (thank you by the way..)

Supercacher is installed but I have warnings that it is not setup and my site is not cached. There is also a matching tool in cpanel.
But when I use the test in the plugin to see if the site is cached, it says it is not cached…

I had the exchange rate set to $1 so it looked like it was showing the US price, but when I changed the exchange rate, it is now dynamically calculating the price after adding the product to the cart (instead of using the manual price I set in the product)

    Hi!
Make sure you’ve set “Default Customer Address” to “Geolocation (with page caching support)”

Hi Oscar, yes it definitely is set to Geolocation with page caching…

This issue typically is caused by stored pages cached and the new feature included in WC 2.4 should fix it.

    Hi Oscar,
I have WC 2.4 and definitely using geolocation with page support.

Is there something that could be causing it to use the exchange rate price instead of the manual price? Note the heading of this issue is misleading… I thought it was showing the regular price, but it was actually calculating the price even though I have set it to manual price…
