Products widget to a 2 or 3-column layout

    Hi there @syntaxerrorno,

    Yes, this is correct at the moment for the email designer. The issue is that the Posts and the Latest Content blocks have their own column tags built-in for cases where you wish to include things like the post’s featured image in a two-column layout. If embedded inside a parent column, these tags break and the email cannot display properly.

    We are in the process of reworking the entire email designer to be Gutenberg block based, instead of using our custom builder code. This should allow for more flexibility when it comes to layouts in general, including setting up products inside columns.

    As a result of this major reworking of the designer, the current designer is not undergoing any major new feature development work as the focus of our efforts is moving to the new designer.

    So this limitation, where posts and products can’t be embedded inside a 2 or 3 column layout, will continue until the new designer is ready. While active progress is happening on the move to Gutenberg, we still do not have a fixed ETA on that change at this time.
